Aaron Mullis

Aaron Mullis founded this law firm in 2010.  After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a double major, Aaron attended law school at the University of Memphis.  Aaron participated in the Low Income Tax Clinic during law school and was a national semi-finalist in the American Bar Association’s Student Tax Challenge.  He clerked for Legal Aid of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands in the summer of 2009 where he assisted clients who were suffering from IRS collection activity during the recession.  Upon graduation, Aaron immediately used what he had learned to help small businesses and people who had lost their homes settle conflicts with the IRS.  Aaron really enjoys the work he does helping clients resolve tax issues. He  has founded several companies involved in construction and residential leasing and is a licensed contractor himself.  This background helps him understand the needs of small businesses and sound financial planning.  He also advises clients on U.S. international tax matters, including Americans abroad, dual citizens, green card holders, and other cross-border clients with U.S. filing obligations involving personal returns, FBARs, foreign reporting, and related tax issues.
